Finally after a 11 days of porattam, Thalaivaa hit the theatre today morning with a mushy bashy dashing intro. For that Thanks to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu AMMA Jayalalitha. Back to review…
Basically Vijay has matured as an actor of substances in commercial cinemas. He is not only a one man entertainer who can dance, fight, romance and do some comedy with ease, but can also act. One of the main highlights in Thalaivaa is the emergence of Vijay as an actor from a star, as he excels himself in emotional scenes. However he was let down with a weak script and take its own time to evolve, which actually slows down the narration. The film 2 hours and 57 minutes will actually test your patience especially in the second half. Continue reading
I started to watch Telugu movie since 2009. And Magadheera * a historical dram-love movie * was the second in my all time favourite Tolly list. I always says Magadheera is a movie which we don’t feel a bored even in a scene. The plot has came in that wonderful magical way. During the 2009, it was one of the most awaited movie in Andhra Pradesh. It has created a huge expectation by the virtue of the posters, trailers, and above all its music album.
The story of Magadherra starts from a 3 minutes of the end of flashback. The scenes starts with the last moments of Princess Mitravinda (Kajal Aggarwal) requests Kalabhairava (Ram Charan Teja) – the royal army, to proclaim his love for her. Continue reading
That was a golden year. That is the cinema that defines my childhood. The age of cinema where films were made just for entertainment and not for personal vendettas, award or attention. The age of cinema that I and all 90’s born dearly missed.
However there are many childs who don’t have the childhood times that I have gone through with these 90’s. So here I’m posting some titles of 90’s which shaped up my childhood and till to date I considered the Best Cinema of 90’s ever. The films that should not to be missed.
Two hero starrers was almost an old one since we have watch Rajni-Kamal combo from 70’s But in 90’s Maniratnam was the one who introduced the 3 hero starrers in Thalapathy. Mammooty-Rajni-Arvindswamy. It was actually quite thriller you know. A Super Star and a top hero from Kerala while Arvindswamy was a newcomer in this movie. Of course all this was only possible if the three had immaculate chemistry. There are scenes to laugh, scenes to cry, scenes of family sentiments and all things. Continue reading
Usually you can’t judge a film by it’s leading actor but in Dhanush case you can easily say, WOW! After giving a smashing hit in B-Town with Raanjhana, finally we manage to watch him back in our own southie film after more than a year. Dhanush is actually a versatile actor who suits for all kind of character, You can see him as a school boy, then a college boy, lately a good parents boy, lover boy, a sentimental villager, and another character is just like what he did in Aadukalam which earns him too many awards including National award too. And after all a psycho who can kill himself. He always live as the character. And as for Dhanush’s Mariyaan is no different. He lives and breathe as the character of an immortal fisherman. Big B, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Aaradhya Bachchan
How cute it is?? It was a big treat to all the Bachchan’s fans who gather outside his house every Sunday in hopes of catching a glimpse of the megastars. For those who came up yesterday was too lucky and they were in extra treat after all. Because this time Big B brought out Aaradhya Bachchan as well, along with her parents.
He posted these photos on his Facebook Fan Page, noting that Aaradhya looks bewildered. She does indeed look confuse but I suppose this is only the beginning for her, right? 🙂
